At our Beef, Beer, and Bay Bash on March 9th at the Lodge in Catonsville, we presented two 2008 "Formula 4 Success" Scholarship Award winners with their checks, each for $1500. The winners for 2008 were:

David Klotz - Wilde Lake H.S. 3.93 GPA, Varsity starter at center. Also long snapper for punts & field goals, Team Captain. 2008 nominee as Scholar Athlete to the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame. Finalist in the Raven's Circle of Champions. 2 year All County Player - First Team Center 2007. He is avid in the weight room. Has a black belt in Martial Arts - Tang Soo Doo. Was a Super 22 selection in Spring 2007. He also speaks fluent Spanish.

Kevin Seker - Marriotts Ridge H.S. 3.36 GPA, 3 year starter and team captain for both football and basketball. Honor Roll every quarter for the past 3 years. All County Basketball 2006-2007. Student Athlete Academic Honors recipient. Volunteer work includes Marriotts Ridge Basketball Camp, Resurrection Mass Babysitter, Catholic Charities Donation Center E.C. To quote his coach - "Kevin is the preeminent athlete at our school yet he is a humble, polite and gracious young man. He is and outstanding role model for Marriotts Ridge".
