Uno's Restaurant at Deep Creek Lake

 

On February 28th, over 800 "dunkers" participated in the 11th Annual Deep Creek Dunk sponsored by the Maryland State Police to benefit Special Olympics Maryland. 

Ravens Roost #4 was represented by dunkers Mitch Hooper and Frosty Volmer.  Roost #43 was proudly represented by Tom Healand, Rob Ewin and Rob & Laurie's daughters Emily & Sarah.  Towel girls Annabananna, the Mosquito, Tina Healand, and Laurie Ewin were on-hand to help-out!  Roost #4 members Steve Shinham & Lisa, along with Burrhead and Denise cheered everyone on!  Thanks to Betty Evans and Sign A Rama of Columbia for the great looking CRRUDE sign in support of Special Olympics!

The Council of Ravens Roosts Ultimate Dunk Extraordinares (CRRUDE) raised over $5800 for SOMD.  The 800+ dunkers raised over $162,000 total!  Woo hoo!!!

 

All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maryland
