Last Game & Commentary

Personal Thoughts:
Ravens news: Someone leaked to the press that Stover was campaigning to give das boot to the NFLPA director, Gene Upshaw. From what I see, we have some words that were taken out of context. Stover followed this leak with a letter to the press that basically said that Mr. Upshaw, whose contract goes through 2010, is going to be stepping down from his post of 25 years in the near future and steps need to be taken to develop a transition plan. In short, a few words got misconstrued and there is a lot of fuss of pretty much nothing.

Orioles news: The bullpen has come through so far, and the young guys are getting hits when they need to. I am impressed with the hustle and effort they put out, especially with Tejada gone. The current mix is good for early season success, but it can't last all season, although I wish it could.

Mariners news: Mariners (1-3) tripped over their own two feet, as basic mistakes (like missed extra points) led to a 27-26 loss to the Augusta Colts (3-1) of the Western Conference's South Division. Next up, the Mariners host the Mississippi Mudcats (3-0), also of the Western Conference's South Division

What do you want to see in the Ravens report? What should be scrapped? Actually, nevermind. No one is reading this anyway, so I will just butcher things up however I please, and you won't know the difference. Send an email to iggy at tealdragon.net. Thanks!
