Personal Thoughts:
Ravens news: All eyes
are on Flacco, but look for Troy Smith to start the season. Harbaugh has decided
and isn't saying. He claims it is an open competition for QB, but its not.
Boller is done. He has the experience, but not the skill to cut it. Troy Smith
will leverage his year on the sidelines, plus his two starts last year to win
the opening day job. Flacco will look impressive in the camps, but he will look
like the rookie that he is. If Smith isn't cutting it and winning games, expect
a change in late October to Flacco.
Orioles news: Orioles are at the end of a nasty stretch of games that features 17 of 20 games on the road. So far, pitching has kept us in the games, and the hitting has kept us from winning them. The 2 extra innings games losses to Oakland would indicate a failure on pitching, but a closer analysis would prove that they shouldn't have gone OT. Early in the season, we were winning games late on clutch hitting, but that benefit has dried up, leaving us on 5th places doorstep.
Mariners news: Mariners (1-6) were off last week. Next up is another Home and Home series, this time against the Carolina Speed, currently sitting at (4-4) in the Eastern Conference, East Division. The first leg of the series will be here, in Baltimore, on Saturday, May 10 at 7 PM.
Crystal Palace Baltimore F.C. news: Crystal Palace Baltimore creating a winning streak by defeating defending champions Richmond 2-0.
What do you want to see in the Ravens report? What should be scrapped? Actually, nevermind. No one is reading this anyway, so I will just butcher things up however I please, and you won't know the difference. Send an email to iggy at tealdragon.net. Thanks!
