Personal Thoughts:
Ravens: A bunch
of commentaries, and not much substance.
Orioles: Orioles got hot... on the road! We moved back in to third place, but there isn't much separating third from last, so there could be a lot of ups and downs. Based on the schedule, we could continue the hot streak after the Boston series as we go on a 22 game non-divisional stretch of the schedule. I said earlier on that if we could make it through this series with Boston and still be somewhere around .500, we have a chance at respectability. I stand by that estimate.
Mariners: Mariners (3-9) move a step in the wrong direction, dropping a road game to the last place Canton Legends (2-10) in a 59-56 shootout. The Mariners need to pick up a win at home against the Legends to stay out of the cellar. After that, the season concludes with against the second place Reading Express (8-4), currently 1½ a game behind the Erie Riverrats, who have clinched the division title.
Crystal Palace Baltimore F.C.: After starting the season 5-0, Crystal Palace Baltimore (5-3, 15 pts)) dropped their third straight decision, this time at home, by a score of 1-0 to the Harrisburg Islanders. They also played an out of league "US Open Cup" match against the Los Angeles Legends in California on Tuesday. The Palace remain in third place, 5 points behind the division leading Charlotte Eagles (6-1-2, 20pts). Next up is another home game, this time against the Cleveland City Stars (5-1-3, 18pts) who sit in second place between us and the Eagles.
Alouettes: If you are ready for some C-League football (Canadian), the team formerly known as the Baltimore Stallions will take the field for their first preseason game on June 12, when they host the ever pestilent Toronto Argonauts. Regular season starts June 26 with a road trip to play the Hamilton Ti-Cats.Blast: No news on the new league.
What do you want to see in the Ravens report? What should be scrapped? Actually, nevermind. No one is reading this anyway, so I will just butcher things up however I please, and you won't know the difference. Send an email to iggy at tealdragon.net. Thanks!
