Personal Thoughts:
Ravens: Flacco
(Maybe he should change his name to Falco... it just sounds cooler) looks like a
deer in the headlights. We are still weak at the receiving and TE core. Jared
Gaither may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to filling
JO's shoes, but he is the biggest.
Orioles: I am starting to get real nervous. It has been a while since we were at .500 this late in the season. Let's hope they keep it up.
Mariners: Mariners (4-10) finish the season on a down note, with a 49-27 loss to the Reading Express (10-4). The Mariners had pulled to within 21-13, and then it got ugly. Maybe next season.
Crystal Palace Baltimore F.C.: Crystal Palace (6-3-1, 19 points) played to a US Open cup draw against the Harrisburg City Islanders, and won the match 3-1 on penalty kicks. Last week, they also played the ninth place Wilmington Hammerheads (1-5-3, 11 points) to a draw as well, maintaining their third place position. Next up is a game against the seventh place Real Maryland (where do they play?) on 29 June who are 3-7-0 (9 points), before taking on the MLS New York Red Bulls in US Open Cup action.
Alouettes: The Stallions lost a 19-16 nailbiter to Winnipeg last Thursday, and open the regular season on Thursday, June 26 with a road trip to play the Hamilton Ti-Cats.Blast: No news on the new league.
