Personal Thoughts:
Ravens: Dilfer
retires.
Orioles: Can we limp to the all-star break? With 6 games against Toronto and Boston, we are heading down hill fast. Our cornerstone pitching has crumbled, and the rest of the season might be very ugly. Boy, I hope I am wrong.
It's time for Iggy's annual MLB All-Star roster, selected by league leading statistics, and not fan popularity. These are the men who earned a spot. [Stats as of Monday, July 7]

Crystal Palace Baltimore F.C.: Crystal Palace (USL2 7-3-1, 22 points) dream run to the US cup was cut short by a penalty kick shoot against the MLS New England Revolution, (MLS 10-4-3, 33 Points). The two teams played to 1-1 tie, which withstood two overtime periods. The Palace's luck ran out when the Revolution outlasted them 5-3 in the penalty kicks to advance to the final four. Returning to league play on Saturday, the Palace visits the 2nd place Cleveland City Stars (USL2 7-2-5, 24 points), who we defeated 2-1 at home on June 13.
Alouettes: The Stallions (2-0) continued their winning ways, claiming their home opener with a 38-24 victory over the visiting Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Calvillo threw for 4 touchdowns in the first half as the Als jumped out to a 31-7 half time lead, before easing up in the second half. Next up, the Als host Calgary (1-2).Blast: No news on the new league.
What do you want to see in the Ravens report? What should be scrapped? Actually, nevermind. No one is reading this anyway, so I will just butcher things up however I please, and you won't know the difference. Send an email to iggy at tealdragon.net. Thanks!
