Personal Thoughts:
Ravens: It is
still early in training camp, so check back next week, when people are doing
more then checking in to their hotel rooms (or not in Suggs case).
Orioles: I guess the Orioles are going to play with the .500 mark for the rest of the season, but look for them to be on the losing side. The stellar bullpen ain't so stellar anymore, which will frustrate the offense who has been scoring runs. Double digits to win looks like a must.
Crystal Palace Baltimore F.C.: Crystal Palace (USL2 8-5-1, 25 points), split their last two games, winning at home against the Western Mass Pioneers (5-8-6, 21) 2-0, but then giving the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (3-9-4, 16) a rare win, 2-1. Next up is a re-scheduled trip to play the Harrisburg City Islanders (5-1-9, 24) on Thursday, and then a trip to play the first place Charlotte Eagles (11-1-4, 37). The Palace cling to their 4th place standing, 4 points behind Cleveland, and only 1 point ahead of Harrisburg.
Alouettes: The Stallions (2-2) dropped their second in a row to the West Division leading Saskatchewan Roughriders (4-0), 41-33, but stay tied for first in the east with Toronto. The game was completely blown by the Als, who lead 33-25 with just over 4 minutes left in the game, before giving up a touchdown, followed by an INT, which lead to another touchdown. Next up is trip out west to play the BC Lions (2-2).Blast: Still no news on the new league.
