Council Report – Ken (See sheet from meeting – handout)

Ken commented on an issue – apparently certain members of the Council don’t feel they have to follow rules, such as fundraisers and charitable contributions.  The council has the same rules, however, Ed Young brought up a fundraiser and thought it was a good idea and make funds available for certain individuals.  33 voted to approve use of fundraiser without any strict criteria.  There was only one person to vote “no” and a lot of extensions (sp?).  Ed Young got very upset and said rude comments to Ken.

We raised $5,000 for Polar Bear Plunge - #50 raised $5500, over $1,000 got a signed Lenny Moore autographed helmet.  Will be placed in our case at the Judge’s Bench.
