Call to order – Frosty, 7:00 pm

Minutes – Last month’s minutes were accepted. 

 

Treasurer’s report – Mandy

 

Ø       Balance of $4,200 in each account

 

Ø       Golf Tournament - we will have the final figure next monthly meeting

 

Ø       Beth reported $3,000 collected on the raffle for the Scholarship Fund.  Members who still owed money have been notified via email of their balance.  Mandy sold the winning ticket.

 

Membership – Mitch

 

Ø       Total membership:  87

1 new member voted in – Charlie Helbing, former member of the Colts Corral

 

·         Membership renewal for fiscal year 2008 is due at the September 24th meeting!  If you can’t make the meeting, please mail a check for $30 payable to “Ravens Roost #4” to the following address:

Ø       Merchandise – Shirts ordered during July’s meeting are in.  Taking orders for new shirts with a joint Raven’s Roost #4 and JILLY’S logo.  There are 3 styles. Price range $23, $20, $13. 

 

Ø       Website:  Ticket Exchange!

 

Ø       Window decals down to the last 5.  Motion granted for $500 for 125 decals.  Mitch will price out for the magnet type

 

President’s Report – Frosty

 

Ø       Council Bull Roast - February 22nd 7pm – 12am at Patapsco Arena

 

Ø       NFL Alumni Dunk Tank raised $900

 

Ø       Check for $1,500 given to Bruce Laird

 

Ø       Martin’s West will host a ‘Solute to Artie Donavan’ - tickets $125 sponsored by the Baltimore Football Players Inc.  Raffle tickets to win a Toyota Tundra $10 each.

 

Ø       Roost #60 Bull Roast Sunday, September 30th, tickets $35

 

Ø       Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge raised over $10,000 last year.  Goal this year is $3 million.

 

Ø       Deep Creek Dunk is scheduled for February 23rd.  Website is in construction

 

 

 

 

Raven’s Roost #4                                                                                 August 27, 2007

 

 

Ø       Salute to Art Modell is scheduled for October 23rd, Valley Mansion, starting at 6pm to 9pm, $150 ticket

 

Ø       Good turn out for the summer picnic.  Next year may be at Joe’s house or Steve’s farm.

 

Ø       This season’s Kick-off party will be at JILLY’S, Monday, September 10th starting at 5pm until the game is over.  Buffet, draft beer and domestic wine will be offered until half time

 

Denise reported on the Adopt a Highway

 

Ø       Adopt a road clean up took 3 hours, Saturday, August 18th.  Cleaners were supplied Tote bag with goodies.  Roost #4 will clean again in October & will need a minimum of eight (8) helpers.  If interested talk to Denise

 

Road Trip Report - Frosty

 

Ø       Buffalo Road Trip tickets have been passed out.  Looking for money next meeting.  Those who owe money will receive an email from Frosty.  There will be two sections next to one another.  Section 101 is behind the goal post and section 143 which is the next section over

 

Ø       Miami Road Trip is in December.  Money due by the October meeting

 

New Business – Frosty

 

Ø       Frosty will arrive at 8am for the first tailgate party at the Staples Lot!  Game starts at 4:15pm

 

Raven’s Report – Scott

 

Ø       Ravens have played a couple of games, they don’t look very good.  The new running back McGhee – not impressed

Corner back – Samari Rolle – liked him but he is now injured

Boller was Boller

McNair…..

Cincinnati is favored by 3 points

Roethlisberger – look better than last year
