  • Current membership is 98
  • Membership renewal was due at the September meeting

  • Ticket Exchange is available on the website and is getting a fair amount of traffic.  Check-out the exchange if you’re looking to buy or sell tickets to Ravens games.
  • Watch the site for information on upcoming events and recent activities!

Merchandise – Mitch Hooper

  • An order was just placed with MACS for Roost #4 embroidered jackets, shirts, and hats.
  • Set-up of the full-back logo was only $395 (not the quoted $600)
  • This order should be delivered within the next 2 – 3 weeks.
  • Amount owed and delivery dates will be e-mailed to everyone who ordered merchandise.
  • Another merchandise order will be taken at the November meeting.

 

Board Report

  • There was no Roost #4 Board meeting in September. 
  • Ken Bauer is looking for 1-2 members to serve on the Nominations Committee.
    • Committee is responsible for recruiting members to run for office.
    • Nominations close in December, 2006.
    • Elections are at the January, 2007 meeting.

 

Council Report – Frosty Volmer (since Ken missed the meeting)

  • Roost #93 (Hamden) has been added.
  • New Council officers have been elected:
    • President – Ed Young (Roost #88) … again!
    • VP – Glen Nigren (Roost #50)
    • Treasurer – Paul Buckingham
  • The Council presented a $1000 check to the Believe in Tomorrow Foundation.

Treasurer’s Report – Mandy Young

  • Scholarship packets to be mailed-out to the Howard County football coaches in mid-October.

 

Report from the Director of Ways and Means (CURRENTLY OPEN) – Mandy Young

·        Road Trip - Frosty

o       now SOLD OUT!

o       We’ll have a Friday Social in New Orleans at the hotel

§         Hours: either 4-6 or 5-7

§         Bottled beer, wine, sodas, & appetizers included

o       All will get a coupon for 1 breakfast buffet

o       Souvenir this year – ash colored sweatshirt printed with road trip art

o       Game tickets, souvenir sweatshirts, and other stuff for the trip will be handed-out at the October meeting.  If you are going on the road trip and can’t make that meeting, you must make arrangements to get your materials from Frosty.

Good and Welfare – Mandy Young (Karen Suter absent)

  • Mike Minehart shattered an ankle last week taking-out the garbage (anyone seen Bobby?!) and will require surgery this week.  Please keep Mike in your thoughts and stop by with a 12-pack to brighten his day!

 

Ravens Report – Bob Caldwell

  • Ravens are 3-0 – woo hoo!!!

 

New Business

  • The Judge’s Bench will be hosting a party for the Ravens vs. Broncos game on Monday, October 9th.  Monday Night Madness pool, happy hour drink prices, food specials, and other goodies!  Come-on out and join the Roost #4 gang for the Ravens Monday Night game on October 9th!  Note – there is no band scheduled at the Bench for the 9th!
